Metal jacketed gaskets consist of a metallic jacket and a filler from a soft sealing material. The filler material provides the gasket with compressibility and resilience, while the jacket ensures excellent compressive strength and sealing performance. Jacketed gaskets can be produced in a variety of configurations making them ideal for heat exchanger applications. A wide range of jacket and filler materials allows to produce gaskets for a great number of service conditions.
